I'm not sure what you mean by direct order. But normal orders (Packages) have a fixed delivery time and pricing. Custom order can be created to meet the buyer's needs by adjusting the price and duration also.

Any order is an order, so I don't think Fiverr values a custom order more or less than a regular order. At most the price of the order might affect things.

What is the difference between direct gig order place and custom order?
Could there be any kind of reaction to the gig?

Sometimes, a buyer wishes to place an order that does not fit into any of your packages, so they will contact you for a custom offer. However, if they want to order one of the packages you have, they place a direct order.

As far as I know, there is no difference in the way each type of order affects your profile or gig stats. However, perhaps @Lena or @milos_siena has more input on the subject.

You're a new seller. Just focus on accepting and delivering orders, either way!! It DOESN'T matter how they come.

Its not necessary to be over-analytical for everything.

On Fiverr, choosing between Direct Orders and Custom Orders depends on your project's needs. Direct Orders are pre-made packages offered by sellers, with set prices and deliverables. They're perfect for straightforward requests and fast turnaround times. However, customization is limited.

For projects with specific requirements, Custom Orders are the way to go. Discuss your needs with the seller and collaborate on a custom package that fits your budget and timeline. This allows for more flexibility and in-depth communication to ensure the final product aligns with your vision.

And how many custom orders have you already offered?
Presumably none because you haven't received a single review/order since January 2021.

It is better to stop advising other sellers (via a chatbot) because you cannot receive an order yourself.
Focus on your account instead of giving false hope or advice to others.

It's just like @vickiespencer said. A direct order is when a Buyer purchases a service you offer on your profile. On the other hand, a custom order is when a Buyer needs a service that doesn't quite fit the existing Gigs you offer.

I actually wanted to know any gain or loss in the two types of orders. nothing more than that.
