I need to inform fellow freelancers and especailly clinets about a new Fiver phishing scam

I'm a frequent buyer on Fiverr, and I'm writing to report a serious issue. Last night, on June 21st, 2024, immediately after placing an order, my account started sending spam messages to hundreds of freelancers.

I scanned my laptop for viruses, but found none. This leads me to believe my account may have been compromised by a new virus or phishing scam. These scams can send out massive amounts of spam in a very short time.

I'm not optimistic about recovering my account, but I wanted to warn everyone about this new threat. Please be cautious of any unsolicited messages you receive on Fiverr.

I wish the best to the Fiverr freelancer community and hope the platform can return to its former glory.
