Would it be acceptable to provide your email address to the client so that they can receive notifications about my account, and once this issue is resolved, I can proceed with the payment using the card? is it a scam or not?

Could you please provide an example of a transaction or something so that I can determine if it might be a scam? im just new here thats why i avoid this kind of situation. please i really need help for this
