Introducing professions: Highlighting freelancer skills

We're excited to announce a new profession-based search experience, coming soon, on Fiverr. Professions, a new type of listing, allows freelancers to showcase their skills and expertise, aiming to better match them with clients seeking specialized skills.
While our current Gig catalog is ideal for many services, some clients are looking for more tailored solutions requiring specific skillsets. To address the increasing demand for skill-based searches, we're creating a profession-based catalog, alongside the existing Gig catalog, emphasizing freelancer skills and expertise.

Initially, the ability to create a profession will be available to a select group of sellers, based on performance and relevant categories. If selected to create a profession, freelancers will receive further instructions on how to do so. 
We plan to expand this experience to additional categories in the near future. If you are not eligible as part of the initial release and would like to be considered when additional categories become available, join the waitlist.

Clients will have the option to view Gigs as they always have or to search by profession, with the new catalog providing an additional way to find solutions. Please note that clients have not been informed of this new experience and will learn about professions in Fiverr's next product release.

Our goal is to provide more opportunities for freelancers and help them connect with clients whose needs may extend beyond traditional Gigs. Stay tuned for more updates.
