Client has given useless revisions repeatedly without submitting the edits. His intention is just prolonging the order!

( riz173 ) This client is submitting 2 revisions after my delivery. Saying his boss is sick and can not give the edits now! after 2 days I again delivered the order and he immediately send revision says, his boss has not given the edits now, need time. After 3 days he submitted the attached file and I did all the required edits and delivered after his consent. But again he argues and prolongs the revision periods 2 times and restrict me automatically receive the order after 3 days. And he is just doing it repeatedly. I took support from Fiverr several times. I do not understand what is going on? and how he is able to extend the revision period after accepting all the modifications he needs. I am very frustrated now. I had done so many orders but did not found this type of client ever. He is just wasting my time and down my gigs impression so that I can not receive any new order now.

Firstly, it's against the forum rules to mention the buyer's username.

And actually, no, he is not wasting your time, and this is not impacting your gigs. Sometimes buyers indeed need some time to review the order. They have their business to run and this delay can be for any reason -- maybe they're stuck with investors or team, busy with another project, or dealing with health issues (like in this case).

It's completely okay to give them the time they need to review the order. If the project is stuck for a month or two, that's a different story, but keeping the project in the active or revision stage for a few days is completely fine.

And if you think practically, it's not wasting your time in any way because you've already completed the order and you are not actively working on it. You will just receive your funds a little later, and that's it. Try to put yourself in the buyer's shoes and think accordingly. If you had invested "x" amount of your hard-earned money, wouldn't you want proper time to review the order?

It's their right, and nothing else can be (or should be) done other than cooperating with them.

This order is placed 19 May 2024, 16:56. and I totally agreed that if there is any valid issue, I should not object. Fiverr also realize that the client is extending the time without any valid issues and suggest me to cancel it without downing my score. They want to cancel it now as they understand the issues. But my request was only to restrict him to extend the revision period ( what he did 2 times unnecessarily, just to disturb me) so that the order will be automatically completed after 3 days. Let's wait for Fiverr response. But we, the seller do not expect this type of unprofessional client here and Thanks to Fiverr, to support me in this issues.

That's the thing! The most customer support (or you) can do is get the order cancelled. Customer support can't force the buyer to accept the order because the buyer is the one paying for it, and it's against the Terms of Service and even the law to force someone like that. The buyer has paid for the service and now has the right to take the time to review it.

And of course, cancellation wouldn't be a smart move, so why not just leave the order as it is and wait until the buyer either accepts it or requests real changes.

@riz173 --- I know here client name mention not allowed, but I think I should help other sellers from him.  He is just a fraud and fake client. He just technically took the services, change the logins after receiving the website and after that doing nonsense revisions with the sellers. So that, the seller is forced to cancel the order. I remind again that he gave revisions unnecessarily without giving any modifications, just hanging me! that's why my gig is down now! Now my all efforts have been losted without earning a single penny. You guys see the site I made in my above message. How much efforts I gave in this and also gave him several revisions. But only for his unprofessional steps, I had to cancel it through Fiverr.
