Before the new scoring system I basically had no issues in having buyers sharing their public feedback on my services. With just one exception for a gig, I guess as that is a readily available service which can be purchased very quickly.

I have the funny feeling that buyers now are encountering extra steps and hurdles in sharing their public feedback, as it has become more difficult to get it at all.

Maybe there is now an extra step that leads them to believe that it's all done? Let's consider that many of them operate from their mobile, in a hurry and with less attention.

I recently had more orders, but less frequent public feedback attached to them, on gigs that would normally get public feedback very easily. My level of service and care hasn't gone down.

Please share what you are seeing, if the same or something different? Thank you!

Hi!

If you're noticing fewer buyers are leaving reviews, you can try reminding them. I would suggest, briefing them about the public and private reviews at the very beginning of the order and reminding them once again during your final delivery message. When doing this, be sure to keep the following Fiverr policies in mind:

  • Do not solicit reviews from buyers in exchange for refunds, discounts, upgrades, or any other type of additional benefit
  • Do not manipulate, pressure, or ask a buyer to edit or remove feedback or a review from the platform
  • Do not manipulate, pressure, or ask a buyer to add a 5-star review or give more positive feedback than they are already willing to provid!

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your kind suggestions, however, my question is: has Fiverr added any extra steps for buyers when providing feedback? Thanks for your kind support

As far as I saw, no. It's just people across the board being very busy and not going wanting to leave a review, at least in my case. Plus, many buyers are repeat buyers for me, so they don't like the idea of always leaving a review, they just order and receive their work, order again, etc. So that's why it can be very common for people with repeat buyers to have way less reviews than usual.
