My response rate is 67%. How can I improve this?

I couldn't response a buyer's message on time recently and my response rate became 67%. 

Another problem is I don't get message daily from new buyers or new client. 

Now, how can I improve my response rate? And how this low response rate can impact my profile?

There are two ways to increase your response rate: When new clients or old clients knock, you will respond within 1 hour, then the automatic response rate will increase.

As far I know, old client's message reply don't impact on response rate. Only the new message can impact. Since very few new buyers message me, my concern is the response rate will take huge time to up. 

My question is, how does this low response rate impact my profile?
