Today is the day

I was hoping that Fiverr would make adjustments to its new level system...but that's not going to happen. After 10yrs. on Fiverr, today I paused my 2 gigs and will wait for the rest of my earnings to clear before I deactivate my account. This has been a tough decision, but Fiverr has made the road to success full of impossible roadblocks like "private reviews" and a success score that never moves despite 5 star reviews and tips. I'm not sure why Fiverr has made things so difficult for sellers to succeed. Their new system lacks the transparency they boast about. Fiverr has turned into an automated, AI robot. Being a seller on Fiverr now feels like a greyhound running as fast as it can around the track in hopes of catching that fox. I'm tired of being a greyhound running as fast as I can around Fiverr's track to impossible success.

So sorry to learn that you're planning to leave. I understand and agree that the new system has demotivated so many accomplished sellers and several have folded their shops from here.

However, though, it's our first interaction, seeing you have given ten years of your life to Fiverr's saga, if I may request, not to leave. Of course, it's your sole discretion but let's wait a little more to see if things start to improve...

PLEASE.

I understand that it's a hard decision and not just you, but Fiverr has forced many sellers to rethink making a career here and consider other platforms. When the new level system launched, I was at 10 but still was not very happy with the new update after hearing all those issues from fellow sellers on the forum.

But I will just say, ignore the things that you can't control. I am sitting at 9 at the moment and have tried my level best to do everything and go above and beyond to satisfy clients, but it's not shifting back to 10, so I have just stopped checking it every second like I used to do before. I now only care about sales, the graph chart of my clicks, and giving my best possible quality work to every client.

I am not sure how stats are going on your end, but I would just say if you're not seeing any major decline in revenue, just stop visiting the Level Overview page like it doesn't exist. Also, one thing to note here is that all those metrics that are visible now were already in place way before in the backend. It's just that they're visible now to us. So, to be honest, there's hardly any new thing in the functioning and the algorithm (except some bugs and flags on major levels).

You gave 10 years on Fiverr and I hope you know what you are doing.

But maybe isn't it better if you let it run as a side business, instead of closing completely ?

There are many guys using all fiverr, upwork and other marketplaces...

Initially my score on one gig was 8. Gradually it decreased to 5.

I noticed my private ratings weren't good, some profiles can show hidden metrics like "quality of delivery" and "value of delivery"

So I started asking happy buyers for private reviews.

and now it increased to 8 now.

I understand current leveling system is more tough.

But I'm happier, because its cleaning competition for me.

From time to time, I'm understanding algorithm and improving score.

I'm sorry for you.

Hope your decision would be based on calculations, not emotions.

I suggest you don't. Leave it, just don't rely on Fiverr as a primary source of income. It still delivers some stuff when it comes to side income.

The problem that I see here is AI messing with a lot of niches, rather than Fiverr's systems (which have their own problems, true).
