It's a scam. Please don't fill in payment information and don't open their link. They prey on new sellers. I also got this kind of message after joining Fiverr newly.

Hi All!

Please remember that we strongly recommend not opening suspicious links, QR codes, or files from senders you have not contacted directly. Please be aware that Fiverr will never contact you via inbox to request payments, passwords, or private information.

Please report these users to our Customer Support immediately. Send an email to support@fiverr.com with all the screenshots you have.

Thank you.

Hello, I am new to Fiverr so just learning the ropes & received this to my inbox.

When you click on the QR code it takes you to what looks like a legit Fiverr funds transfer page. Luckily I Googled this as it wasn't showing up in my 'Active Orders' & found similar things are happening to others.

I cannot report the account as it doesn't look like its active anymore.

Just wanted to raise awareness about this as it's not right!

I received a spam message today. It annoys me because I get so many of them. I always block and report these users so they can't bother me anymore, and it also ensures that they don't negatively affect my response rate. Thanks and stay safe, everyone!

I'm new here. Hi!
I just made my account earlier today, and was excited when I received my first message.
They asked if my offer was still relevant, which I found odd considering my Gig was literally made today.

They then said the following: "I’m trуing to рlaсe an оrdеr, but fоr the siхth timе, the wеbsitе is аsking fоr уour e-mаіІІ. Cаn you drop it hеre so I сan finalizе thе purсhasе? Thanks! 🙏"

Is this a scam? Something feels off about it. I'm new so not sure.

To be safe, I always reply, even with a "No, thank you." to ensure my response rate does not decrease.

I go straight to the point: I reply with a " . " before reporting. It doesn't get any easier and faster than that. 😁

Hi everyone, I created my first gig today and I already had a customer writing to me asking for my email because the payment didn't work without it. I sent her my email and I got this email informing me that the order has been paid. When I click on the link, this page opens up for my confirmation. But the thing is that I have not received information about the order anywhere else, for example on the official website. And so it seems to me that this is a scam. And the client wrote in private messages on the site that she paid and asked to write to her when I confirm the order. I just haven't had any orders yet, so I'm not sure how it works. I will be glad for help.
