Would you Delete a Gig or Edit a Gig?

One of my friends often deletes and creates a new Gig because he is not getting good results. Someone advised him to improve the Gig's SEO by optimizing the description and title. However, I suggested to him that instead of deleting the Gig, he should edit it. What do you recommend? Could you share any relevant experience?

The only way we can tell if our gig descriptions help with traffic is if we have a Seller Plus subscription and the advanced analytics that come with it. If he has it, then he can experiment with it. If not, then, my suggestion would be to write descriptions for humans and not algorithms.
