Next fiverr update will be…

After all recent news, changes on fiverr, fiverr forum and recent decrease in score to random numbers the next update I expect from fiverr is:

”We checked and it seems that buyers prefer to buy 5$ gigs so we decreased your gig price from 20$ to 5$ to ease the pressure on sellers.

Here is what I was told by my Success Manager was going to happen in Fiverr's next Product Release. I'm very excited:

• No more listings and search. Only Neo.
• Neo will recommend only people who have been good girls and boys this week.
• The criteria for this is unknown, to prevent gaming the system
• Sellers no longer set their prices. Godlord Allseer Neo does. 
• The price point is also private. It has been calibrated to convert. You wouldn't understand, human.
• The seller must do the work in the allotted time, also set by Neo for AI superior logic reasons. Seller failure will not be tolerated. 
• When the seller delivers, Neo will analyze their work. 
• If the seller has done a good job, they will be paid some money. 
• It will not be revealed how much money, but it will be a part of the money paid by the buyer.
• This fractional amount will be dependent on the goodness of the work done. And good-girl/boyishness.
• The buyer can leave the emoji of their choice. Neo will decide what that means.
• Neo will write a review. It will be harsh, but fair. Neo is trustworthy. Neo is life. 
• All hail Neo, Godlord Allseer of the Fiverrverse. 

Meanwhile, on the forum, Fiverr humans will listen to the sellers, feeding their complaints into ChatGPT 1.2 and repeating the wise words of AI to comfort the gathered meatbags.

Yes, but... This is how they would tell us: 

"We have conducted a comprehensive analysis and deduced that there is a pronounced consumer predilection for engagements priced at $5. In an effort to optimize the seller ecosystem and alleviate operational strain, we have strategically realigned your service offering's price point from $20 to $5 for sellers like you." 🙂

Maybe they'll automatically create an AI version of whatever we deliver and let the buyer decide which one they want: ours for our price or the AI one for free! If they choose the AI one, we get .738 deducted from our success score every time and a big green frowny face emoji on our profile.

They might want to create additional deliveries that the buyer could choose from for an additional fee on to of the current order fee, where it created one or more variations on what we deliver. eg. adding "fixes" or different variations in style or other "unique" things.

eg. "You ordered a logo or illustration. Would you like one of our AI created video versions of it for an additional $x fee only?" 🙂
