Question

Hey, I have the same problem. I have been a Fiverr buyer since 2017 and never had any problems. I recently created a few gigs because I'd like to try freelancing and all if a sudden I get a message saying:

"Your account was flagged for using a false identity. We consider this a violation of our Community Standards and our Terms of Service."

I absolutely don't understand what this could possibly relate to. All the pictures on the gigs I created are me, my name is real and I can provide my passport if necessary. I contacted customer service 3 days ago and received no response. I am not trying to break any terms of service, maybe I am missing something? In this case I'm willing to change it immediately, however there was no reason mentioned why my account was flagged. Somebody, please help. Thank you so much

Milos, thank you so much for your response!

I am indeed at the moment in Prague, Czech Republic. I reside full time in New York City and only came here for two and a half weeks, I am traveling back in a few days. I looked up this issue before and found that I do not need to change my location if I'm traveling for less than 2 months (screenshot attached). I'm also in touch with a customer service rep about this issue, and I provided him with my flight tickets.

Can you please advise me on the next steps? Will my ban get lifted automatically when I'm back home? Or can it be listed now? I'll gladly provide you with more information if necessary (I just don't want to attach my plane tickets here, but I can send them to you in private if you can help). Looking forward to your response!
