A few ideas

1. Clipboard - Sometimes my conversations with buyers are long and information that I need can be buried in all those messages. A feature to post certain messages with information I really need (like login details) to a clipboard for quick viewing would be awesome

2. Coupons - I offered some of my previous buyers a discount on a new feature to my gig that I was adding on. I lowered the gig extra price and messaged them. It did quite well netting me 10 extra purchases and the awesome fiverr team their cut. This wouldn’t have happened without my messaged offer. A coupon feature for return customers would be awesome. Like a coupon code field before the ORDER now for $x button. And maybe even a message all previous buyers the coupon code and how long it will be active for. Make the feature for level 2 sellers (thats me!) and top rated sellers only, and only one per month or quarter. I would love this feature.

I’m against the coupons idea, that will make Fiverr too much competitive and will make people work at a very cheap rate, 5 dollars is cheap enough I think.

This would be more for gig extras (example, one of my gigs goes for $55-$75 after gig extras are added on). I have many return customers, I’d like to send a coupon to previous buyers to get a discount on my gig extras without discounting it for all new buyers. Kind of like a customer appreciation.

Well for #1 there actually is a feature where you can call upon certain segments of your conversation with the buyer by using the “Search Activities” box. You type a word in of relevance, and it will call up that particular aspect of the conversation. If you utilize this when you’re discussing things with buyers or potential buyers, you’ll be able to call upon sections fairly easily. Let’s say you had a particular subject you wanted to mention. You could use an identifying keyword like, Section 1: or something like that, and search for it later via the search activities. It’s kind of helpful, but not ideal. There are also many browser plugins and software in general that allow you to copy many different things to just one single clipboard to call upon that information at a later date, just search around and you’ll find them.



I’m totally up for the coupon code discount, and they do already have a system in place that gives people money back anyways when they run their own specific promotions to bring in sales, so honestly this system is already possible, it’s just a case of will they actually implement it to the general public. I get messages from them all the time as I occasionally buy on here although am mostly a seller asking me to spend X number of money and they’ll give me money back with specific sellers. With that in mind, a coupon program could easily be built in. They obviously can create discounts for users. The best workaround right now would be to make a specialized gig and keep it on pause until those good buyers or return customers come back and open up the gig for them. It’s not ideal, but hey. I would be up for a coupon code of sorts if done right. How exactly right would be is another story.
