Hello everyone, I'm Marina, and I work as a graphic designer. I've been trying my luck on Fiverr for the past few years, but I haven't had much success. However, this year, I've managed to get a few orders. I've noticed that I'm getting a lot of impressions, but only 2 clicks.

I've made changes to my bio, title, description, and keywords. I've also improved my thumbnail images.

Attached you can see my thumbnails images.

I would appreciate your feedback and any suggestions for improvement.

Thank you.

Marina

Hey Marina,

Did you happen to make all these changes in a short time, like in one day or over the course of a single week?

If so, your impressions may go down quite a bit as the algorithm ranks and propagates the new data on your gigs. I suggest small changes over time and give it a week or so and then analyze the new stats vs the old.

Right now with the new Update, there has been more than a lot of changes made to the algorithm and system as a whole, so we are all seeing lower performance from what we had a month or so ago. With that said, there is little information that would be helpful to you at this moment, as none of us is certain how things work anymore.

I will take a look at your gig later and if something sticks out that I feel may be hurting your click rate, I will let you know.

Cheers,

Ken

One thing I would suggest is breaking Poster Design and Flyer Design into two separate gigs for more exposure in the search. Being a new seller, you will do better with multiple gigs, as it will give you more chances to be featured in the search results of your gigs category.

Thank you for your reply. Shall I keep my gig with the orders for poster design and create a new one for flyer design?

Those stats are quite normal for level 0 accounts. It is also clear that your Impression score has increased significantly over the last 7 days vs the prior 23 days.

I would just add more gigs [you have 4 gig slots I believe] and give it some time. I know the waiting is the hardest part, but it will pick up.

I did the changes yesterday I just would like to know if they look all right and wait a week for results.

Everything looks good to me. I have some thoughts about the description, but nothing that would cause you problems [we can talk about that later].

Definitely, wait to make any more adjustments or changes to that gig. Feel free to private message me in a week to let me know how things are going, and I will help you more if I can.

In the meantime make some more gigs. Find some less saturated niche categories within your skillset and set up shop.

I look forward to hearing about you progress in the coming week(s)

Thank you ever so much for your help. I felt lost as I am quite new to this platform even thought my profile says since 2021. The last year I got in involving more seriously. I can create a number of graphic design projects. Do you have an idea of "less saturated niche categories".

Regards

You are quite welcome. I've been active here for 5 years though my account is 6 years old, so I understand. The hardest part is getting past level 0, from there, things can move quite quickly.

I'm a voiceover artist so I'm not acquainted with all the different niches within the visual arts/communication categories. I suggest using search terms that fit the type of work you can offer to see what the competition looks like. Spend a few hours doing the research and taking notes while you're doing it. You may even find gigs within your wheelhouse that you would have otherwise never thought of.

Hello, again. I waited for almost a week made some changes to my gig such as the color of my thumbnails to orange. I also created another gig for brochure and magazine design and still have 5 clicks. Do you have any suggestions?

Greetings

Hey Marina,

Just give it time. I wouldn't change anything else for at least 2 more weeks. You are a new seller and it takes time to get noticed. Once you break out of level 0 things will start to pick up. Level 0 is the hardest level to overcome.

Hang in there, it will come.

They both appear to get cut off at the description text in the thumbnail view in the search. Try resizing them to 1280 x 769

  • Minimum: 712 x 430 px

  • Maximum 4000 x 2416 px

Yours appear to be below the minimum size

I loved our gig images and I think they are astounding. I believe that you can share your gig in social medias to increase organic traffic and lead them to your gig.

Sharing your gigs on social media directly affects the impressions you see. These are not organic impressions for the most part as anyone who sees your post will be included in the data for your gig as an impression. Most of the time these don't convert into clicks as many of the people seeing your post are not looking for someone to hire.

I hope this makes sense
