What do you do every day to keep your physical and mental health good as a freelancer?

I take 30 minutes of sunlight. Recently I faced a huge health issue that I can't able to work. Then my doctor said that I have Vitamin D deficiency and that I feel pain in my body. I can't able to do my desk work due to pain.

+ plan my work hours to ensure I don't overwork (I also work on the side still so I have to manage properly)

+ Go to bed at a normal time (few years ago I would still be up at two in the night, but I can't function anymore if I would do that still)

+ Workout 4(5)times a week. Really take the efford to step outside the house, go to the gym, get a proper workout in since I'm sitting alot. After that workout a good shower and straight to bed is heavenly. 

+ Hangout with friends and family. Personally, I live for away from my family and friends, but I try and be there as much as possible. At least once a week I'll join for dinner and after that I'll go to the gym with 3 friends before I go home. This one is most important, doesn't matter if you live far away or not.

+ Take breaks while working. Just a few minutes is already enough. As long as you break the connection with your eyes and the screen a few times your good. 

+ Good posture, while it is inviting to lay back in an awkward position, it's not good for your back and other parts of your body. Change the way you sit multiple times and try to remind yourself to sit properly.

+ Eating habits. when behind the computer, it might be more tempting to snack. Try eat a better alternative and try to combine it with your breaks. For example take a break to make a good lunch. Also, while it might seem like the best idea ever. Don't buy a mini fridge full of soda to put around your desk 😂 You will never get out of that chair! 

+ best one: always have some sort of music in the background. Complete silence can stress the mind or make you feel alone. With something on the background like music you will not be distracted like for example with a video. This helped me so much to focus more!

+ do what works for you and listen to your body!
