Where is the request I just posted?

So I just posted a request for the first time, and I assumed I would be able to see this somewhere, and maybe get info on how many people had seen it, number of responses, etc. But I can't seem to find this anywhere?

So where can I see information about requests I've put out? Is this not possible?

Hi @michjnich, You won't be able to view your request until you start getting offers or inbox inquiries related to your request.

If you don't get any offers or inquiries in your inbox, then either you have no matches or the sellers who were matched didn't think your request was relevant to their services.

You won't be able to see how many sellers were matched with your request but you will get any offers or messages from interested sellers (check your inbox). As long as you get at least one offer or inquiry in your inbox, you can access your request from that message and choose to accept their offer or cancel your request.

I don't really like the Brief system as a buyer. I don't think it makes good matches and it gives sellers access to your inbox if they message you or send you an offer. I prefer to just use Fiverr's search to find my sellers.

Thanks for the info @vickieito . That seems ... terrible. For a number of reasons.

I did start with looking at people in the search, but it's very hard to filter them. I messaged one guy who just ghosted me. Another looked decent but had no reviews so hard to tell, so I was hoping putting a request out might yield some interest. In fairness it's been less than half an hour, so maybe something will show up in the next day, but I hav trouble fathoming that fiverr don't think I should be able to see what requests I have actually made! (Perhaps they should hire some decent UX people from their own site 😄 )

Hi @michjnich, If you are new to buying, you might want to check out @Kesha's new thread here:

You do have to be careful as a new buyer, so I don't recommend that you work with sellers who have no reviews (advice from a known buyer-only member of the forum):

Here's advice from a seller who also buys (like me):

Hello

I am new to this Fiverr and this Forum .

I came for a simple Q&A

and the replies I read do NOT answer the basic question.

Where is the button to show "my request" I just posted online.

If I'd make a kickstarter I can see MY project etc

Here I spend several hours resuming my gig request in writing and pictures

posted it clicked on the Q code and then NOTHING.

I simply can't find a menu that lists a reply to my simple query.

I don't want to write to x sellers the same story I just want to direct them to my request after reading their profile

AND I joined on my phone with the app which wasn't enticing so I switched to my PC and boom it logged me in

but under an account I created three years ago and did not proceed on it. So now I have two accounts which doesn't make sense

I'd rather use the one I created first. Can I delete the second one created this morning?

Thanks ..now I wonder where and when will I know when someone replies to this post?

Have a great day .

Hi @vicarious1! The answer to your question is here in this post:

You can't see your requests until someone (an interested seller) responds to your request. Once you post your request, Fiverr's matching system will match you with different sellers. If they are interested, they will contact you or send you an offer. If they aren't interested, you may never see your request again. You can only access your request if an interested seller contacts you (and you can access it from the message the seller sends).

Unfortunately, this isn't possible with how Fiverr has its Brief & Match system set up - which is for you to enter information and Fiverr's system to do the matching. I choose not to work with this system because I like to vet my sellers on my own, which seems to be what you are doing. I usually just save my briefs to a Word doc template that I can share with any seller that needs to see my project details. You do need to be careful to customize your message to each seller (if you send the same exact message to multiple sellers, your account may be flagged as spam).

Having two accounts is against Fiverr's ToS, even if done by mistake, but hopefully Fiverr support can help you delete the second one that you accidentally created.

FIVERR just did NOT make my day two days ago.  I posted my first "request" as re posted on Fiverr FB page with the same picture and the entire text of my "request" It was refused due to "braking community rules" with warning about (child related offences etc) and warnings my contacts may be passed on to authorities worldwide etc  I was left speechless and VERY shocked. All I asked in my title was ti "Migrate a 2GB SketchUp19 file to Unreal Engine 5.2 (or+)  And wanted to make sure the selling is willing to work with LGBTQ project . The warning was UTMOST disturbing especially I am a (proven in court and a case I won) as church child and teenager abuse survivor!) I have NOT received on word of reply from Fiverr not on FB page and customer service won't take a gmail address for communication even my company e-mail for the many past years was good enough for the rest of the world.  Before this happened I contacted a seller in who's specialities seemed to stand out. After several exchanges mostly about money where I said I had a 500$ budget and that it was flexible she addressed me as "brother". I replied politely to tell here NOT to call me "brother" as I probably am rather the age of father. As the conversation went on she wanted me to go on Telgram which I did not like then she simply asked me to double my budget and as I wanted her to at least answer my questions like " Do you know SketchUP" etc she did not reply as simply told me that I am wasting her time and now her hourly fees have gone from 72 to 100$. So much for trying to further the day of someone who is located in Ukraine. I wonder what's next in for me on Fiverr?  I just tried to re-post my request with a changed text leaving our my request for someone open minded to work with an LGTBQ gender neutral project.

So this is my amended text:

Hello thanks for your consideration.

As a tiny group of friends, we came together believing creating a game that does NOT include shooting, killing, running and jumping. We want something that goes SLOW, enticing, beautiful and relaxing. Like a mini Las Vegas entertainment park without gambling.

I am 3D builder, others give gamer’s perception, etc. We try to keep expenses to a minimum. I worked on this for over two years. We want someone who can go on working with us as we progress.

A fantasy space built like a proper building, for avatars to meet and share time, spaces and do things together with like-minded folks.

The model built in SketchUP19 needs to migrate to UE 5.2 or higher into the gaming UE gaming platform.

The model comprises many groups to form one a square block of 18 floors of many sizes and many features under one roof. Much of it is airy, garden, pool, elevated walkways etc. I can’t work with someone who needs a later SKU version as I can not open it, I refuse to go on the newer version for many reasons. The file size it near 2GB

As an autodidact artist and designs as I go in SKU, not in conventional ways. I could not plan floor per floor, etc. I built my building like someone paints a painting as I go. I am sure there are many minor mistakes in the SketchUp model. I don’t have all the extensions likely to find them. I have over 1000 renders made in Lumion10 and had no major display issues to date.

Lots of glass leads to multiple transparencies for gamers to see and look from one area to another. It’s all about seeing and then joining the other avatar. There are several water bodies, lake and aquarium, pool, jacuzzi. One of the multiple space connector is a spiral staircase, repeated with slight amendments to each setting. There are other grand staircases to walk between spaces. Later some items like doors, elevator that may need animation.

At a later stage we’d like it not only to be PC but also viewable in VR. I have test walked parts of it of it myself, in my VIVE helmet and it looked and felt very real.

But at this time I am learning UE 5.2 and am not advanced to migrate the entire project. I know I have been told to move it by groups to facilitate the move. Most my decorative materials are custom designed by myself like carpets, art on the walls etc. I understand I may have to reapply the materials again in UE.

To start I need to see at least one part moved to UE so I can appreciate your level of expertise.

Thank you.

You can make up your own mind of what "braking community rules" Will Fever again decide that the mention of a project being LGBTQ and Gender neutral isn't an acceptable way to present a project. Just let me know. I am very enticed to take this to the madia and maybe a court of law.

Will an AI reader reject it again for totally insane and unrelated reasons?

I will not spend anymore time trying to contacting Fiverr support as they can read my situation here and on their FB and get back to me.

I just sent this to Fiverr customer services lets see how fast and how much they read their messages?

It seems Fiverr customer service isn't existing at all?
No reply on FB and you deem my xxxxdotcom company g-mail as acceptable? We'r in 2024 what is wrong with a gmail account?
Even our government here in Canada deems it as suitable!  You can read my endeavour in detail by following this forum thread
https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/323579-where-is-the-request-i-just-posted/
I want to know what on earth your AI (or personnel) makes a conclusion that my 3D file migration from platform A to B has any s****l connotations?
If you as your say are so good at all this why do you find the mention of LGTBQ and gender neutral something enough to refuse my "request" and send me a VERY offending warning ?
Regards
Vic

Hi @vicarious1, I am curious how this was resolved for you as I am having a similar issue as an LGBTQ+ business owner. I had a freelancer waste my time by taking a project, allowing me to pay for it and then telling me he won't work with my company because we sell (G-rated) LGBTQ+ t-shirts.  I think it could be useful for Fiverr either to create a clear anti-discrimination policy they require fo freelancers or create a search function for business owners to screen out people who will just waste our time.

@Lena do you know if there's anything like either of those options available on Fiverr at this time?  Could you update me about where to pas this feedback to ensure it is taken seriously by the Fiverr company?

Hello @transpainter

Let me start by saying how deeply saddened I am that you had such an experience. I am truly so sorry. According to our Guidelines, discrimination is not allowed on Fiverr or Fiverr Forum in any form. I can see that you have an open ticket and that our CS is working on it. Rest assured that everyone here at Fiverr is taking your issue seriously.

Please know that we are here for you and that you can always reach out to us via email or by sending me a message.

Thanks @Lena customer service has sent me to responses that read like a robot and do not actually address the issue I brought up.  Another customer service rep in these forums suggested I continue reaching. out INDIVIDUALLY to each freelancer to see if they will discriminate.  So far 2/3 will.  This leads me to suggest that either Fiverr get serious about their non-discrimination policy and create a way to follow up with and remove discriminatory practices OR find a way for your consumer/customer (ME and others like me) to easily weed out people who are open about their discriminatory practices in the search function.  I have sent that suggestion to five different customer service reps so far and none are able to respond.  Please advise.

I had a buyer ask if I was Christian and then not hire me. Does that situation mean I should contact Customer Service about their discriminatory behavior? 🤔 Or should I put that fact in my FAQs so buyers will not be inconvenienced by having to ask?

@vickiespencer I am not here to debate what is or isn't discriminatory. I am advocating for an efficient user interface. If you're saying you only work with Christian buyers you should say that up front so you are not wasting your time and so that it helps the audience you are targeting find you.  So far three customer service reps have told me according to Fiverr's policy, if you do choose only to take projects from a specific population then you should list that in your FAQs, but that is not something they enforce, so it's a useless policy.

Hi @vickiespencer

I am uncertain about the type of answer you are expecting from me. You can do both, either or none. It is at your own discretion, your own decision. I can say for a fact that Fiverr has a strict policy against discrimination.

@transpainter, I understand that. The best place for buyers to put such information is in their FAQs. Therefore, by the same token, Christians and other parameters should be included in the list of those buyers that sellers will not work with. My point is that the list could get quite long.
