Admittedly, at first glance I had a tough time trying to understand the usefulness of this tactic. However, it makes perfect sense to me now.



In essence, the aim is to be where the conversation is or at the very least be aware of what’s being said about our niche’s, right?



That being said I’ve used Google Alerts a good bit in the past. Not for Fiverr, but certainly to help me stay current. One of the things I noticed is that G Alerts doesn’t seem to pick up stuff from the remote reaches of the web.



For that I use IFTTT.com which you can use to manually request alerts from certain sites - each time your chosen keyword is mentioned. After reading you suggestion, I’m going to try and apply it to Fiverr. Thanks!!!
