Adding new gig vs gig edit

Does editing an existing gig and adding a new gig has same effect, as it takes time to review and accept by system?  Will the adding a new gig will effect the main gig’s performances ? Thank you.

Please avoid playing around with gigs, not advisable.  When you create a gig - create it thoughtfully with long-term goals. And edit them only when its necessary. 

Constant editing, chopping or deletion of gigs never helped anyone.
