Buyer 'no show'?

Hi All.

I am new to Fiverr and just created my own gig. My personal experience as buyer was outstanding, with the seller but also the Fiverr platform. So I took the opportunity and created a gig myself.

In the first weeks I did get several requests and an order, but after ordering my gig the buyer went silent. No replies, nothing whatsoever. I know I have a more complicated gig with shipments and all, but these ‘no shows’ really annoy me.

How is your overall buyer experience? And how to prevent this turning into a bad rating on Fiverr?

Thanks.

I have had the same problem this week with a buyer. They placed the order but have yet to send me any content to fulfil the order.

I asked a similar question here in the forums a couple of days ago and the great advice and info I got was that unless the timer has started on the gig you don’t need to worry about it. The only thing you need to worry is if you put your gig into action mode and the buyer sends you content while you are away and the timer runs out and you don’t deliver your goods. Thats bad so just give the buyer a nudge and fingers cross they respond (unlike my buyer).

But after an order is placed the timer starts counting. Would it be better to let the timer run out, or to request a mutual cancelation then?

Last time I tried mutual cancelation, but I see it affects my response time counter. That can’t be fair then.

Have you nudged the buyer? there should be a button in the top right side of the order saying something like “Nudge buyer”. If that doesn’t work the best advice I can give you then would be to contact fiverr before the timer runs out
