someone contacts me directly - can it be a scam ?

Hi, a person contacted me directly to do a work, but as they didnt go through the platform but sent me direct email, i wonder if it's safe...i would rather NOT work for nothing 🙂

How do they know your email?

The guidelines  on Fiverr is  to communicate via the platform and not outside the Fiverr platform. Try communicate with this client via the platform if possible.

It happened to me on another platform. They are crooks usually they will tell you they will pay in several ways not a single known one like paypal. So take care

you're right, i checked my profile and the "contact" page is directly managed by platform and doesnt display the email....i don't know how they got my email and will ask ..let's see what they say
