Messaging & privacy settings

I’ve received messages from 2 different buyers now but when I wanted to view their messages and reply, I see the message that for privacy reasons this person cannot be contacted. Is it possible to notify members that if they set their privacy settings this way, anyone they’ve sent a message to will be unable to contact them?

I got this the other day as well. I was thinking of doing a “Free gig” offer to get some sample work and testimonials, but to be honest, I’m afraid that my account might be set like this and I dont know it… which would make my offer pretty awkward.



I wonder how you get to this private setting or if its a glitch or what. Sorry that I cant help, translations2u
