1. Place only your service main text on primary gig image. don't use much character on this image.

2. Avoid placing those line on border side of image.

3. Use eye catchy color and comfort color. 

if you not a professional graphic designer then try CANVA to create gig image.

It's not mandatory but good for the Fiverr algorithm. Fiverr prefers videos on gigs.

Though in the above link Trisha was talking about intro videos that you can now add on your profile rather than gig videos (that are added on the gig page).

But Fiverr does say in the gallery section of a gig that "Videos can increase user engagement by 40%.". Though that might not really be the case now that videos have been made mandatory in some categories and it doesn't say how much it increases it on average.

I wanted to mean engagement. Sorry about it! An eye-catching video is always good for gig performance. You can simply avoid it if you can use an eye-catching thumbnail image.

No, but Fiverr recommends using video on the Fiverr gig

In some categories it is (if you're offering videos, for example). In others, it isn't.
