Question
mandytriple9
Hi all! I completed an order about a week ago for a 60 second ugc style advertisement video with a script I wrote. The buyer said they loved it and accepted it right away, we had some back and forth after about me changing the file type and size, and then a few days later he asked about changing the dimensions, all of which I handled. I got a message today that the video isn’t performing as well as he hoped on the platform- ie people aren’t engaging with the ad as much as he hoped- and he wants me to create an entirely new video, new script, everything. Would it be wrong of me to send another offer since he’s just unhappy with the videos performance, not the actual video? I include one revision that I would’ve been happy to do at the start if he actually disliked something specific or was looking for a different type of video, but I don’t think it’s right for him to change his mind about the video just because it’s not getting as much interaction. Am I in the wrong, should I just recreate an entirely new video free of charge? I appreciate any advice!
