If you insist on providing something first, only provide something like a small snippet of it, never the full thing. Also, tag it with a voice. That's my suggestion.

Yes. Next time create an offer first - send a sample if you must, but only send finished work using the delivery button.

Nothing else you can really do here. Just take it as a lesson learned.
