Increase gig price

I give a service which is convert website to app. Generally, I charge 50usd but it has been told from Fiverr to increase the minimum rate to  100usd. I am worried about decreasing my sales.

Trust the platform if they want you to raise the prices - it is for your own good. It is indeed scary to increase the prices but conventional business wisdom always dictates that higher prices mean better efficiency and profitability!!

It will help you earn more for the same amount of time and effort.

I did this a while back... the number of orders dropped slightly but I got more money for the gigs I did do meaning I got the same money for less work. Thats a win for me (although I value my work/life balance!)
