Question

Posted

Hello Fiverr Community,

A couple of months ago I had a good experience when working with a seller that did Digital Art for me.

Recently I contacted him again to see if he's available and it took a few days for his reply.
- Note: for safety and privacy reasons I won't mention the seller's name -
So basically, his recent response has left me not knowing how to respond.

He says being sorry for taking so long to answer as his computer broke down last week and just repaired it now.
Then he says "tell me what you would like us to do".
Keyword us. I'm sure he's not working for any company related to art or working as a group.
After that he says "can you tell me (username)". Odd format and especially mentioning his own username.

My final question is thus: could this seller be hacked?
Feel free to tell me how I should handle in this situation, thanks.

Yes, strange indeed Tahmid Meem.

I'm going to write him and see what happens.

Be careful and give us update if you got know actually what happened?

Yes, update time.

Whenever he talks it sounds like he got a busy time ahead.
He just mentioned that and also that he'll be on a trip next week.

I could've mentioned that his English isn't the native language, even though the grammar is perfect.
From what I see every time is that he takes "us" and "we" as when we'll work together.

Last but not least, the hacking confirmation.
I once addressed his two names at the beginning of a message because their name changed.
That could be the reason he said "can you tell me (username)", but that was just vague and old.

Moral of the story: spend time on Fiverr when you have space available.
🤔 or something.
