I am not sure that it's allowed here on Fiverr. It's a kind of cheating.

it is kind of okay but never recommended. Why would you create two gigs with exactly the same service and information? Use 1 gig and offer pricing accordingly.

as a new seller, wanted to have a 5$ one as well with a "a buck for some little money'' type gig, but the main one offered a lot with industry-standard pricing, but not as high as a Sky scraper

You can't have identical gigs. Read the rules, duplicate gigs can be removed. And in some cases, you might even end up with a ban, so try to offer only unique services. I recommend you read the Terms of Service and remove any duplicate gig until it's too late.
