Hi everyone. My sales have gone down a lot. I think my last delivery was 11 days ago and this had never happened to me. I was always keeping a steady stream of orders like 1 new order every 3-4 days and sometimes getting 2 orders a day. I was able to keep 5 orders in progress and overall everything was going great, every day I had work to do.

About two weeks ago all that changed. My statistics and impressions went to the ground, even one of my gigs that is promoted (the one that provides me with the most clients) So, I have several hypotheses: clients have decreased due to the summer season and many will be on vacation or it is because of that gig I have had about 4 orders canceled in total (my order completion is 91%).

Has this happened to you? What do you recommend? I've checked my gig, updated my portfolio, checked keywords and nothing seems to work! 😞 Thanks for your help.

I fully understand how you find that strange.

Let me tell you a bit about my situation if that makes the issue seem any less tedious for you

I've been a seller here on Fiverr since 2014. All of my stats are at 100%, I've reached Level 2, have over 2,413 reviews with an average 4.8 rating, and at one point 9 months ago, my sales have completely dried out to a null. By "completely" - I mean completely.

After 8 years of successful selling on this platform, I haven't even received a single message from potential buyers, let alone an order.

If anyone has an idea on why this could be, I'd greatly appreciate any insights and 2cents.

I'm sure your orders will get back on track eventually. Not so sure for mine, however :classic_biggrin:

Did something flag that post as AI/ChatGPT written? It seemed human written to me.

Isn't it related to the OP post because the OP talked about declining sales and asked "Has this happened to you?..."

And @richardbloch talked about the fact that that happened to him

Hi too

When were your orders cancelled?

August 27 was the most recent. The buyer made the order without writing to me in the chat. He sent a document without any explanation or instructions and after 2 or 3 messages and two days asking about the job requirements, he told me like: "Plans have changed, I don't need it anymore. Cancel the order." I explained to him that he should please cancel it because that could affect me negatively. He didn't respond anymore and when there was an hour left to deliver, I had to cancel the order explaining the reasons.

I think that's where the problem comes from. There are many buyers who place orders and then don't need the work.

Since that day, I have not received any more orders. Maybe I canceled it wrong, I had to do it in another way by contacting support so that it didn't affect me in this way.

I have received spam messages and new sellers asking for work, but not potential buyers.

Wow that's really terrible! 😢9 months is a long time. Has a buyer ever canceled any order?

I guess that order cancellation has put you in this situation. It seems that your gig is still under-effect of that order cancellation. There is a possibility that other sellers of your same niche are performing better than you. It will take some time (may be 2-3 months) to get back to track hopefully.

I can see that you have created a gig in Spanish language. It would be better if it's in English.

Add more gig images in the gig > "I will design business card, letterhead and stationery".

Good Luck!

Yeah well, even with previous cancellations in that same gig, I didn't lose sales or potential customers. I suppose that between all of them (4 in total) they make it worse for me. I guess this time was different.

On the other hand, I see that my statistics are not so bad: In the last 14 days 35K impressions and 907 clicks and despite that, nothing.

Hmm about that gig in Spanish, it's that I offer that specific service in Spanish, since my English is not advanced enough to transcribe audios or videos in English. For the rest, they are all in English because it does not require writing in English and communicating via chat with clients is easy for me.

Yes, you're right... That gig I need to post some samples of previous work, I published it yesterday.

I just hope it won't be that long! 2 months would be a long time for me. Thank you!!
