How to not get " gigs "!

It all happened a few weeks ago , I was visiting my cousin who was just getting married . At his wedding I met someone , who told me about this amazing web-site , where people would be interested in receiving help , and would kindly , pay a modest fee of 5 $ . At first I thought to myself , that it was to good to be true , but at the same time I was eager to get home and see this wonderful place . As I enter my apartment , after a whole day of road tripping from the weeding , I take comfort in my chair and visit fiverr . As it turns out this is really true and there really are people who inspire and help others , and so I thought that this would be the time I would help others and so I did my first " gig " , and time passed and nobody was paying any attention . After a few hours I started searching the fiverr forum to see where I was not careful enough , and by so I spend a few days researching , still nobody was even getting close to my " gigs " . I was editing my " gig’s " once every 15 minutes , always getting something better out of it , or at least that was what I thought .

As it turns out , I does not really matter the way you prepare , or ,how hard working you might , believe you are , or how many hours you spend taking your service to the next level , it does not really matter if today you woke up again hoping that this would be the first day that everything will turn as planed , all that matters is that you are healthy in the warmth of your family’s heart !

Take care everyone and have a great day !

Reply to @kjblynx: Thank you for your time , and patience , as nowadays not many are those who would spare a moment . I understand that by using , quotations , you believe some would have a divergent opinion , but the fact is ; I only use , quotations to describe something that in fact would mean much more , to be more plain , when using " gigs " in the above tittle I actually believe that we offer a great deal more , than just another " slag " word , I do not use sarcasm and I do not laugh , I do not even consider rolling my eye’s in any way .

I believe that by offering our services we can help others in their everyday life’s , and hopefully offer a small spark of light .

Have a great day KJBLynx !

And, correct me if I’m wrong, I think every time you modify your gig it gets knocked lower in the search engine rankings. So, if you’re modifying your gigs a few times a day, you’re messing with your chances of getting noticed (at least in my own experience).

I believe traxie2001 is correct. I also wanted to point out, it took me days to get my first sale. I also wondered if I was doing something wrong, but eventually that will pass.

I also have some gigs that have not had one sale in almost 3 weeks.

Try to create some different gigs (stuff you can do well), and I am sure 1 or 2 may do well for you sooner or later.

Initial indexing time especially for new users and gigs takes at least 24 hours. Sometimes upwards of 48 or more if it’s your very first gig. Then on top of that, you have to over time tweak your gig to make sure it’s fitting to your target market. Heads up. If you put your gig up between the hours of midnight and about 6AMEST time you will have a ridiculously fast approval time and response time from Fiverr.

Reply to @kjblynx: I am glad you understand , as for the quotations , you have the right to your own opinion as everybody else , regarding the commas , I believe they stand for how a normal communication between two people should take place . I am thankful for your your interest and persistence .

Have a great day KJBLyns !
