Please Im begging you to look into these things:


  1. In the app, theres no option to turn off the live gallery. Some customers dont appreciate that their work is being displayed!! Give us that option.

  2. Limiting us to 28 “vacation days” is not right. You’re not our employer, we are our own bosses.


  3. On our sales report page, we could use more options, at the very least to see a monthly income report, not just the current month.

    Theres always room for improvement in other areas, but these 3 are my top issues with Fiverr right now.

Once upon a time, sellers COULD turn off the live gallery. Then Fiverr got this brilliant idea to make it mandatory for certain categories. Many customers do not want their work removed.



I know it’s kind of a pain, but if you contact Customer Service, they can remove whatever work needs to be removed from your Portfolio.



I agree with the vacation day limit. It’s easier to suspend gigs and then work them back up the ranks.



At least 6 months’ worth of earnings (shown PER MONTH) would be awesome. A year would be better. This would save sellers some time and math (bleh). 😉

I answer about your first point: there are two options

  • Seller could disable live gallery... but honestly I don't like this possibility: why should I take down my live samples?
  • Buyer can dismiss live sample: when buyers receive a delivery, he has the opportunity to remove sample from gallery. It's enough, don't you think?

Reply to @mark74: A lot of buyers don’t pay enough attention to notice that option. By the time they realize it’s been added to the Portfolio, it’s too late for the seller to take it down.

Reply to @goodgift: I agree with you about the fact “many users don’t pay attention to rules”, but this is not an excuse.

If you drive at 80Mph on a street with 40Mph limit and a policeman stops you, you’re getting a fine… teAlling that you didn’t see the speed limit is not enough…

Reply to @mark74: No, it’s not an excuse, it’s a reason. Unfortunately, there’s no way to “ticket” a buyer that missed a button.



I wasn’t making excuses, nor was I engaging in any sort of debate. I was just stating why this happens sometimes.

You are right, maybe Fiverr could let buyers remove gallery samples within a short period (eg one week), but not whenever they want…



That said, I’m seeing loads of users not reading Fiverr website ToS nor forum Do’s and Dont’s… and this is evil, because these same people are the ones complaining for missed rules 😦

Yes, the seller should be able to disable the live gallery. Say you want your picture photoshopped because you look to fat and your skin looks a bit pasty. If I deliver a before and after result to my customer and its insta-uploaded to a live gallery, woudlnt you be mad that your private picture is available for all the world to see? We’re not children, we should have options.

Reply to @xrayguy: it’s not instantly uploaded on live-gallery: buyer, before completing the order, can remove live sample… so nothing is shown.

So seller could want to show samples, but last decision is taken from buyers!
