Fiverr just gave away weeks of work to the buyer for free.

Question

I have been working on an order for weeks now.  This project has had to have its delivery date pushed back several times because the buyer never seemed to be satisified with the deliveries.  I was starting to suspect that the buyers demands were no longer being made in good faith, and instead that he was attempting to get out from paying me.  Sure enough I woke up this morning to find out that the buyer had opened up a dispute and Fiverr decided to cancel the order, essentially giving away my weeks of work for free.

Does this happen often?

If a buyer opens a dispute, you have the option to accept or decline it. If you decline, the order will be automatically marked as completed after 3 days, unless the buyer escalates the dispute to Fiverrs customer support. If the dispute is escalated, Fiverr's customer support will review the case and make a decision based on the evidence provided by both parties. They will consider factors cush as the order requirements, delivery files, communication history, and feedback. if you believe that the buyer's demands were unreasonable or that they violated Fiverr's terms of service, you should provide as much proof as possible to support your claim. you can also contact fiverr customer support directly and explain your situation, they might be able to help you resolve the dispute or restore your order

Thank you for the reply, I have already done/am doing all of that.  I am simply interested to see if this is a common occurrence among Fiverr sellers.
