Can't Create Gigs

multifractal

Question

Having two potentially issues with Fiverr:

1. I cannot create more than 4 gigs. I currently have 3 active, 1 denied and no other ones in any other status. If I delete a gig, I can create a new one. But otherwise, the 'Create a New Gig' button just brings me back to the same page I was on.

2. When I try to create one particular gig, I get auto-denied. While there's nothing I can see in the terms and conditions that would result in this, I've contacted support but I get an auto-reply that doesn't address the issue.

In fact, no matter what message I send to Fiverr, I get this as a reply:

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out about your Gig,
Gigs on Fiverr shift their position daily and we cannot guarantee search positions and impressions.
Gigs may also be removed from our Search feature due to poor performance.

You can continue working with your existing buyers.
We are here if you have additional questions.

Best regards,
The Fiverr Support Team

This has nothing to do with the questions I posed. Not sure what to do from here. Hoping support visits these forums.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi @multifractal - that is strange!

You should be able to have 7 gigs. Is this related to the "auto-denied" gig that you mentioned?

Please let us know what gig that is, and maybe we can find out why you keep getting auto-denied.

No, it isn't related to the auto-denied. I've had this problem since my account was created, I just never realized 7 was the cap. I assumed it was 4.

The gig that is getting auto-denied is a gig about coding scripts for clients that will transmit information through a webhook to Telegram or Discord. The text of the gig is as follows:

Are you a commercial script owner looking to provide extra value to your Telegram or Discord community? Elevate your members' experience with real-time TradingView alerts!

What I Offer:

Custom Alerts: Tailored to your specific indicators or strategies.
Text to Screenshots: From simple text alerts to real-time chart images.
Seamless Integration: Easy setup with your existing Telegram or Discord community.

Why Choose This Service?

Boost Engagement: Keep your community engaged with timely market insights.
Add Value: Offer exclusive real-time alerts to enhance your members' trading experience.
Expertise in Pine Script: As a specialist in Pine Script for TradingView, I ensure precise customization.

Important: Please read FAQ before ordering.

The FAQs aren't anything more than explaining the limitations of the request. But I've tried creating the gig without the FAQs too.

I understand your frustration with the issues you're facing on Fiverr. It seems like the auto-reply you received from Fiverr's support isn't directly addressing your concerns. Here's what you could consider doing:

1. **Contact Fiverr Support Again:** While the auto-reply isn't helpful, it's still best to keep trying to reach out to Fiverr's support. Sometimes, you might receive more personalized assistance in subsequent interactions.

2. **Be Specific:** When you contact support, make sure to be very specific about the issues you're facing. Mention the inability to create more gigs and the auto-denial problem with the particular gig. This can help the support team understand your situation better.

3. **Use Different Communication Channels:** Try using different communication channels if available. Some platforms have email support, live chat, or phone support. Check Fiverr's website or support page to see if there are alternative ways to reach them.

4. **Community Forums:** Participating in Fiverr's community forums might also help. Sometimes, other users or moderators might have experienced similar issues and can provide guidance or solutions.

5. **Wait for Personalized Response:** Sometimes, the initial responses from support might be automated or not fully addressing the issue. If you keep following up, you might eventually receive a more tailored response from a human support agent.

Remember, the key is persistence. Keep trying different methods to contact support, provide clear and detailed explanations of the issues you're facing, and hopefully, you'll receive the assistance you need.

I've tried 1 and 2 multiple times.

For 3, didn't know Fiverr had a phone number, I guess I can try that during the week.

I'm doing 4 now.

For 5, doesn't matter if I follow-up on a support ticket. It gets auto-replied with that message I mentioned then immediately marked as solved.

I am patient. It's been two weeks I've been trying. And a year I've been on 4 gigs despite 150+ orders and 70+ 5-star reviews.

Hi @Lena - can you look into @multifractal's situation for us? He hasn't been able to create more than 4 gigs (that includes inactive gigs, too). Also, he has a gig for pine script trading that gets auto-denied each time he tries and CS has also been auto-closing all of his requests on this topic.

Anything you could find out for us would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

About the gig that got denied. There's this rule in the community standards:

Quote

Services that can pose financial risks for our users

Fiverr cares about the financial safety of our users and takes security of their private financial information very seriously. Services that may put our users at risk of exposing their sensitive financial information are strictly prohibited.

Do not offer, agree to provide, or ask for the services that require getting access to other user’s sensitive financial information, such as:

  • Opening, managing, or implementing changes to a financial account of any kind

  • Providing a loan, buying or selling  currency or  cryptocurrency, or trading binary options, or any other financial instruments

  • Mining cryptocurrency

  • Removing negative remarks from the credit score or credit history of a person, entity, or government institution

  • Trading signals, indicators, or pre-made trading strategies

But Fiverr also has a whole category for "Trading Bots Development". But it might have been something to do with the "trading" and "indicators" that got the gig flagged. Though I don't know how they'd determine which of those words would get flagged while also having a trading bot development category.

Also 2 of your gigs have exactly the same gig title. Fiverr's TOS has a rule against "Intentional copies of Gigs" (though I don't know if they mean copies of other people's gigs there, but it's probably best to not have identical titles, so people can see each gig is different in some way).

So I was contacted by Support and received essentially the same message shown to me in the interface. This is the message in the gig section:

We had to remove your Gig as the service you are offering is prohibited by our Community Standards. This decision was made after careful consideration and cannot be undone. For more information please read our Prohibited Services policy in Fiverr’s Community Standards.

And this is the message from Support as a follow up from this forum post:

I understand you would like to know why your Gig was denied, so let me help.
I have checked your account and your Gig and found that your Gig offered services that are considered Prohibited on the platform.
Due to this, your Gig was denied and we will not be able to restore it. You are still welcome to create a new Gig that is in line with our guidelines, which you can review in our Community Standards.

Am I being too dense? I'm asking what is the rule I have broken so I can fix the problem. Not to mention that there are other gigs on the platform that offer the same or nearly the same service I'm trying to provide. I just don't get it.

I'm not sure if these are related to what you do, but this is what I could find on the forum (you might want to read these threads):

Thanks for the threads. I've read them and I have to assume I used a auto-deniable word. Which, frankly, I'm fine with. Automated systems are going to have false positives; I get that. But contacting Support to follow-up has just been surprisingly pointless.

The last response from them is that they can't provide any details as to what specifically caused my gig to be banned because it's proprietary information. But I have to assume the agent manually checked my listing and confirmed it had to be removed 🤷🏿‍♂️. My screenshot of other listings identical to mine was met with a request that I flag those listings so they could be taken down. *ouf*

What has me at a lost is that the service I'm offering couldn't be more mundane. Sending information from one platform to another is de rigueur for a coder.

And I still have had zero response as to why I can only create 4 gigs. I guess I'll create a second forum post and keep messaging Support until a real person answers me.

Could it be anything to do with TradingView's policy? where it says:

Highly doubtful. TradingView prohibits extracting their proprietary data or market data, yes. But they also created the webhook feature on their platform specifically to pass information from scripts from their platform to 3rd-party platforms. There's even a dedicated category on Fiverr called Trading Bots Development that caters to this.
