Can't edit my gig title

jamaluddin_k

Question

I'm offering a proofreading service in English and have "English" in the gig title starting with a lowercase E. I caught the mistake before publishing the gig and made the E uppercase, but it seems the change did not take effect and I have repeatedly edited the gig title post-publication to no avail. What do I do now?

It happens sometimes. Please write the entire caption again in your required format.

Hmm, just tried that, unfortunately it did not work in my case, but thank you for the suggestion. Interestingly, it seems that the majority, if not all, of English proofreading gigs have "english" (with the lowercase E) in the gig title, suggesting this is a site-wide bug.

Hmm I didn't noticed that.

It doesn't seem to be a bug. It seems intentional by Fiverr. They change the text/words to lower case except certain words or things that they allow to be upper case (eg. there's lots of gigs with "SEO" written in upper case).

There are gigs with the word English written as "English" but they were all created years ago (eg. in 2016 or before). So some time in 2016 or 2017 Fiver changed it to make it lower case for that. You could contact CS and ask them to allow it to be written as "English" as it does look bad for the gigs and for Fiverr if proofreading gigs etc. are written as "english" (which the vast majority of them now will be).
