Can I ask for the document before creating the offer?

I'n new at this app, and a person (I believe) ask me to traduce a 102 pages PDF, this goes outside my gig, so I ask him how many wods this document has and he says 1000+, and that I have a 3 days deadline. I would like him to send me this PDF before accepting because I don't know how many words are 1000+, can I do that?

Well 1000 words would typically be around 2 pages. But yes, I recommend you ask for the document, because there are times when buyers might not estimate correctly. So, it's better to check beforehand.

Thanks! Yeah, 102 pages are around 50000 words so that I was a bit confused. I already asked him the document, thanks again!

Definitely you can but 1000 words is around 2 pages or some case 3 pages. I prefer to always ask buyer to his/her requirements, condition and what they need actualization? Always I do for my betterment and gig ranking.
