Hello Fiverr Community,
I hope this post finds you well. I am writing today because I am currently facing a difficult situation with a client and I am in need of some guidance and support.
Recently, I had the opportunity to work with a client from Nigeria. However, this client has been causing me a great deal of stress and frustration. Despite delivering my services as promised, the client is continuously exploiting the free unlimited revisions I offer, with no intention of completing the order. To make matters worse, the client has been unresponsive to my messages, leaving me feeling helpless and confused.
Every time I submit the revised work, the client comes back with demands for additional changes that go beyond the scope of my original gig offer. It seems like an endless cycle, and no matter how much effort I put into meeting their requirements, they remain unsatisfied. This situation is not only mentally taxing but also prevents me from gaining valuable experience as a seller.
Considering the circumstances, I find myself at a crossroads. If I cancel the order, I fear that the client will leave me a negative review, which could harm my reputation on the platform. It's disheartening to think that one client's actions could overshadow all the positive work I have done so far.
I want to emphasize that my intention is not to generalize or stereotype Nigerian buyers based on this particular experience. I understand that every individual is unique, and it would be unfair to judge an entire group based on the actions of one person.
Therefore, I am reaching out to the Fiverr community for advice, suggestions, or any relevant experiences that might help me navigate this challenging situation. If you have encountered similar scenarios or have any tips on dealing with difficult clients, I would be incredibly grateful for your insights.
