Facebook account linked. What now?

Hi everyone, today i found out about the possibility to link my facebook account to my Fiverr profile, so i did it.
I got a little bit confused about the usage of this feature since i can see that visiting my profile only shows that i have connected my facebook account but nothing else.
So my question is: what's the point in linking your socials accounts in the first place? Also, should they work as effective links to our social profiles, wouldn't this be totally counterproductive for Fiverr platform as people would eventually choose to get in touch with sellers without the intermediate of Fiverr platform?
I hope someone can clear this out to me, i'd be super thankful :)

The point is only to show potential buyer's that you have confirmed to Fiverr that you have a Facebook account. It can help verify identities and create trust. It's just a small "I'm a real human being"-sign. Nothing more, nothing less.
