Reply to @rnuyen: Me too! I don’t know if there’s some demand for transcription or not, or maybe it’s just because our feedback is getting better and we’ve got more of it. You’ll be at Level 2 soon 🙂

Yes, my orders have slowed down a little. I also notice that when I deliver, my clients dont seem to get notified. Was worried that something on my end was wrong

My sales have dropped dramatically. Not had a ‘new’ customer in over a week. I queried this with fiverr who said the ARS brings new opportunities for sellers to showcase their work. The problem is, all my ratings are 5 stars, so it isn’t true.

Reply to @selina92: I’m not in the recommended tab of my section but I am in highest rated. I’d like to think that’s where most of my customers find me because “Recommended” doesn’t seem to mean much on Fiverr (a lot of new gigs are on there with no sales or ratings) whereas “Highest Rated” makes more sense.

Reply to @emilyrose93: Oh that’s great 🙂 To be honest, I find that I never really have the problems that a lot of Fiverr sellers encounter so maybe transcription is just a generally better market?

I have seen a drop in certain gigs, but I think competition is rife too. What might have been a good idea is to split test the UI update first and compare the results.



I believe in small tweaks, measure, apply permanently else you disrupt many people. Same applies to Google which is why they try not to make major changes in their algorithms that often.



Other gigs are up though, so I can’t complain. Just keep doing a good job!

Yeah, I was in a pretty good rhythm and leveled up in 30 days with good amount of sales but now…it’s my third day with no orders.



And I also had a client who sent me a message and I never received it. Hope it’s not interfering with our sales…

Reply to @rnuyen: Interesting. If I search “transcription”, then I’m number five under “Highest Rated” and I can’t see your gig. But if I search “transcribe”, then you’re number three and I can’t see my gig!

In the recommended section Fiverr promotes new arrivals. They deserve a chance as well, and it’s not fair to market only the TRS sellers.



On the other hand, if someone really wants to buy from a trusted seller he can always click on the highest rated tab.



Anyway, the ranking system is far from being an “outstanding experience”. I’ll never undestand why featured gigs are shown in tons of irrelevant categories. SEO reports gigs are shown above the real blog mentions gigs in the blog mention category. It makes no sense and it’s not fair.

I was referring to the main page of the Transcripts section and then to High Rating (without searching for anything just going directly to the sections) I see myself as 6th? Or I mean I’m third row, first from the left.
