I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place; I'm new here. Well, my question is  someone contacted me to do a job for them, and they left the @ of another profile where I would talk to them. Where do I click to search for this @ on the page, as a seller or as a buyer? I'm a bit confused because I don't have them as a friend or anything; they just left me a message and provided the @ of the profile I should contact.

You don't. You speak with the person who contacted you. If someone else with a Fiverr account wants to order from you, they should contact you. It's actually against Fiverr TOS to contact people (buyers, if you are a seller) who haven't contacted you about an order first.

I'm guessing this is related to the Telegram spam/scam messages.
