The thing called a "brief" -- posting a need -- could use a LOT of improvement?

For something I order regularly finding sellers by searching among sellers works fine, but for things a little less common it seemed possible to describe my project and allow sellers to find it and propose solutions.   Unfortunately there is a required field called "category" with EXTREEEEEEMELY limited choices .. so having taken the time to write up a project I am getting unrelated offers -- all at my "budget" price point, and all related to the (False) category -- but none related to what I need. 

Can't this be improved?

I would suggest searching for sellers who could be relevant instead of using Briefs. It's mostly irrelevant for us as sellers, too. 

Perhaps you could find relevant sellers by finding people who possess the required skills but don't necessarily offer that specific service. I once used a music video editor to make a pizza commercial. 🤣
