Why can't I lower my "starting at" price for one of my gigs?

Question

The minimum price seems to be 40 dollars (a writing gig), but for another one of my gigs the minimum is 5 (a proofreading and editing gig)! I don't want my minimum to be 40. While yes, I can adjust word count to compensate for work and time, I would like my lowest possible price to be what's front and center. Is there a way I can fix this?

Hey!

Which sub-category is the gig in exactly? Perhaps ghostwriting (or something else) now has that limit I guess? If that's the minimum, than that's the minimum, I don't think you can do anything to be honest. Keep a reasonable word count for the first package (and the rest) to avoid burning out and do your best.

(I did take a look and your pricing looked a tad wonky at a first glance, the more words you get the cheaper it gets (per 1000 words / etc.) which might not work out for the best.

I personally think it's easiest to keep the pricing a bit easier to track (and more far on you, too.)

I do appreciate the advice, my friend, I will take that to heart!
