It's not gig-focused. It's account focused. So it will hurt your account, and all gigs are affected obviously. You will be pushed back in search.

It's about the buyer satisfaction rate, cancellations make buyers unhappy and you will be penalized for that.

A few days ago, I have to cancel an order mutually with a buyer and my Order Completion Rate dropped to 89%. The order was placed by mistake. But when the same buyer gave me another order within 14 days, the Order Completion Rate(OCR) raised back to 100%. Sharing it so that people know about it.

Thank you for the reply, but this effect should start be noticed if the OCR drops a lot not like 100-98% right or i got it wrong?

It factors into your overall algorithmic score, so a 50% OCR will be worse than 98%, but 98% will be worse than 100% etc. It's just one of many factors that go into your overall score. I've never suffered badly because of a 98% score, but remember that anything less than 100% will keep dropping unless you get new orders, as older, completed orders go out of the calculation. So don't drop the ball on this.

Thank you very much for your great answer, i have one last question.

For the past week, some of the buyers keep buying my gig by mistake and i send the support tickets and they remove the harm from my account but now i feel like if i send them again i me be bothering them a lot or if it makes me look bad or manipulating the system which I'm not as the buyers requested and stated that they ordered it mistakenly.

What do you think, should i take the hit or can i keep sending tickets if it is not my fault?
Sorry for asking a lot of questions but i can't find anyother to trust.

Thank you!

Hello,

If i canceled an order i know it will hurt my order completion rate and will hurt my gig ranking but want to ask will it hurt my other gigs ranking or just the gig that its order got canceled?

Thank you!

Order cancellation is really bad for profile and gig. Recently I've got this worst experience. Your gig impression will get down day by day if you get the number of cancellation of order. So, be careful of it and try to perform your best while working.
