Is it possible to set price my translation gig per page?

Suppose that I am trying to set up a manga translation gig, and I want to charge a certain price per page instead of a price per x amount of words. Is there a way I can do that? As I am making my gig, Fiverr is insistent of an initial cost of at least $5 and all of its extra options assume that I would be charging extra for either an additional x amount of words or for faster delivery. I want to charge per page though.

No. You can only price your gig per word. Not sure why you'd want to charge per page. So if I send a page with 40 speech bubbles crammed together, do you want to charge the same as a page with only two speech bubbles? I don't pretend to understand manga translation, but I'm a translator and would never dream of charging per page. Buyers would send me Word documents with font size 2. 🤣

In some countries, charging per page is the norm (and the page is defined as 1,800 characters, spaces included, so the font size doesn't matter).

Unfortunately, there's no way to do it. You can only charge per word.

By the way, in your profile description, you say: "I can also do programming assignments for those of you in college." Remove it ASAP, and if you offer something similar in any of your gigs, remove it from them, too. Doing school assignments for students is a violation of Fiverr's Terms of Service, and you could get permanently banned for it.

I belong to a FB proofreader group. There I found out that charging by the word is not the norm. Most proofreaders charge by the page, which is defined as 250 words.

It will be your time wasted experience and try to set your gig's price per word.
