Demoted from TRS by mistake

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've been a TRS for 4+ years. A few days ago I got demoted to Level 2 Seller even though my stats are OK to maintain the TRS status!image.png.cbf577d33f292dcda563928e872ff51d.png

The support girl says that "I don't meet standards..." What standards to meet when I have all the stats OK? I've got more orders in last 2 months compared to prev period and I've got all 5*!!!

If support said you don't meet the standards but your stats look okay you could ask CS what stat(s) are too low and show them your dashboard and analytics pages (as attached images) showing the stats are okay.

In theory it could be due to private review(s) but that isn't listed as one of the requirements.  Also 2 of your main gig images have 5 stars shown in them but we're  not supposed to put our star ratings on gig images according to this link: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/4410883326481-Gig-image-guidelines-Making-the-most-of-your-Gig-image?segment=seller

which says:

Fiverr automatically includes badges for you, so there is no need to add additional Fiverr logos, rating, seller level, or any other badges to your Gigs—this will flag your Gig and will be removed.

Aside from what my other esteemed colleagues said, I can add that your completion rate can change every day. It might be the case that when you were evaluated, it was under 90%. I see it's barely around 90-91% now, so it might be that.

Maybe it's different for demotions from TRS but whenever I've had a demotion from the normal levels it's said in the email they send what the stats were at the time of the evaluation (or what they were saying they were). ie. "...your account no longer meets the requirements for...The following was your performance at the end of the evaluation period" and the stats. Maybe the email from Fiverr might say or if not they could be asked like said.

I didn't know about this rule, however, I have those images since I've created them (years ago) so that's not why I got demoted

No that's not the case either, I had to cancellations during this period but I had completed orders as well so my numbers never got below 90%

The performance on the day of the evaluation was meeting the requirements (those that we know of) and I am sure about this 100%. I am sure that the system demoted me automatically and not some Fiverr team that choose to evaluate my profile on 15th (on the day that system does the evaluation!!!)

I remember when @emeraldawnn lost her TRS. Her stats were within the required area, but Fiverr suddenly took her TRS away. I do not think she was given a specific reason.

It's sad because I am like a "veteran" here and I was expecting some honest explanation from them

They became more strict about that rule recently.

Also, TRS demotions can be manual too. The thing is, if you were very close to 90% on stats, if you messed around with images, etc, that becomes an issue. So it can be a manual demotion.

I got demoted from TRS to Level 2 in March. Then I got demoted again to Level 1 on May 15th. All my stats were at 100 percent. I emailed CS but at this point, it looks like I have start from the bottom again 🤷🏾‍♀️. Hopefully, things work out better for you @sabedinmeha.

So disappointing 😞

I give up emailing them.

I will continue as a Level 2 Seller and I will not aim for TRS anymore.

I was a big advocate of Fiverr, I even held free trainings and helped many people start working here.

Luckily, Fiverr is not the only freelancing platform.
