I hope you have some Idea about who is users of WPVIP. If you consider about speed, with a better hosting, lightweight theme and low plugins with better cache and resource optimization you can a lightning fast website that load better then any JS framework or non-code website. Wix page change taking few seconds to load. In term of expansion & adding more features, I don't think WIX can stand in front of WordPress. 60K+ plugins & 5K themes are listed on WordPress repository In term of expenditure, I would suggest you to do a compare about WIX & WordPress.com (non-hosted) / Hosting as Wordpress hosted is free of cost. There have more benefit of using WordPress over WIX, which will take hours to express.
