I made it!

Last night I received the following email:

image.png.551c323bf8f220c55597449f6a9906ea.png

This is my Fiverr story:

September 2020: Fiverr account created

End November 2020: First GIG placed on Fiverr

December 9, 2020: First order on Fiverr

February 17, 2021: Fiverr Seller Level 1 reached

May 15, 2021: Fiverr Seller Level 2 reached

February 24, 2022: Email from Fiverr with their request to apply for Fiverr Pro

March 15, 2022: Accepted for Fiverr Pro

June 24, 2022: Reached all requirements for Top Rated Seller

May 15, 2023: Approved as a Top Rated Seller

May 15, 2023: 427 reviews

May 15, 2023: 583 orders completed

May 15, 2023: still 33 active orders

For all newbies (READ AND LEARN):

a)      All this is achieved without staying online 24/7. I am only online when I am working on my orders.

b)      I am not using social media

c)      I am not promoting gigs

d)      I am not using discounts or coupons

e)      I am not using SEO

f)       My gig images are not perfect

g)      Not all of my gigs have the preferred gig size.

h)      My gig descriptions are not perfect

i)       I am not using GIG extras. I only use custom orders.

j)       I am not using videos

k)      I am not showing examples in my gigs. I only show 30 examples in my portfolio.

Wahoo! Congratulations @filipdevaere! I really hope the newbies read and learn the 11 points that you posted!

This just shows how important it is to be a quality seller here on this platform. Quality trumps a perfect-looking gig. You also didn't seek Fiverr Pro ... Fiverr came chasing after you begging you to apply to Fiverr Pro. And you don't need any special boost or features to excel at what you are doing! 😊

I'm super happy for you @filipdevaere! Getting Top Rated Seller status isn't easy, but you did it! 🥳🎉

Indeed, the Pro Badge was unexpected. I was lucky that Fiverr asked me to apply.

The Pro Badge is really boosting my sales. My Pro Verified gigs are always high in the search results.

How's this possible? Then how did you rank Gig? If you don't mind please share some experience

For me, this is proof that a good performance (selling enough and keeping your buyers happy) is the main key for ending up high in the search results. It is all based on your performance on Fiverr compared to the rest of the sellers in your sub-category.

Can you explain? I don't understand your question.

Actually no worries at all. I thought the seller plus and Fiverr pro where the same thing, so I thought you were paying for Fiverr Pro, but after reading this post and doing some research I launched my own application. Thanks so much for making this post and giving us some knowledge we might have not otherwise known.

Man, i see you roasting all the "stay online" people, easy on them haha

Indeed.
A small percentage of these sellers stop after a while with giving this wrong advice. Unfortunately, not all of them give up.
