Spam on Fiverr

Hi everyone! Yesterday I became a seller on fiverr (I do logo design) and since then I'm getting an absurdly high quantity of spam messages. Is this normal? I'm not talking like a few spam messages, I'm talking about a lot. Since yesterday I counted like 30 different account messaging me asking to contact me outside of fiverr. I reported all of them.

Is it normal for fiverr sellers to be contacted by this much amount of spam accounts or am I being targeted? 😂

Sadly, It's a VERY regular matter here. I received at least a few messages in a days from people who proposed that sort of thing. They ask you to take it to “hype with an s” because Fiverr has no authority there and they (the buy-your-account idiots) can spam and swindle to their heart’s content.

Just report & ignore them, and move on. Do not start a conversation to email, “hype with an s” or any other contact method off of Fiverr, because it’s against the Terms of Fiverr Rules and it could get your Fiverr account deactivated, even though it’s a scammer trying to get you to go there.

so don’t waste time on them. Just ignore them.

With that high of a number also means your gig is ranking nicely and is easier to search. Keep blocking them and best of luck on your new journey.
