Spammars

Also today, I received a message from a spammer. A total of seven people have sent such messages so far. Why I am faced with these types of messages? Yet, I have not received any real buyer messages.

Let's just say that some people prefer the "easy" and unfair way of doing things. The only thing we can do is report them.

Because there are 2 or 3 locations that are in the business of "spam and scam" rather than offering actual quality services and Fiverr has done nothing to stop the barrage of such nonsense. Therefore those of us trying to make an honest living have to do so in a sea of fakes, pickpockets and scammers.

I am also getting too many messages from scammers. They always ask that you contact them via telegram. After that, they assign big projects. And they promise a large amount to pay. If we did those projects, wasting our time and resources, they would ask us to deposit some percentage of the amount that they promised to pay us. The reason for the deposit is something like currency exchange fees. These people are wasting our time and money.

You receive this because you are an easy target: you have no sales and you are probably desperate to get an order.

There are always exceptions 😉

I think the spammers are the norm, unfortunately, rather than the exception. A lot of people getting them, from all seller levels, prices, and business volume.
