itsmarchegiano
Hi everyone! I'm having the worst experience ever with this guy I literally feel like I have to throw up. How can I contact Fiverr support? I have been working night and day for two days for $5 and this wretch does nothing but make excuses, doesn't listen to me at all, and insists that he doesn't want to pay. I am making him an AD creative for Facebook but he is asking for unimaginable things, he asked me to put 52 products with their prices in a single 1080x1080 pixel creative and complains that the text is too small. So I enlarged the text, but to do that I had to remove some parts of the design, and he complains about that too, he can't understand that with all this text I don't have any space for the design, and he complains that the creative is too simple, I don't know what to do at all, PLEASE help. My broke ass has NO intention in canceling the order, also because my gig will be affected for something like 60 days. I've always had WONDERFUL experiences here on Fiverr, I always had lovely and easy to work with clients, I cannot wait to block this guy. Here's exactly what's happening: Two days ago this gentleman directly places an order (without even contacting me, but that is not a problem, it has happened to me before and I have nothing against it) he sent me two completely blurred images of a list of products (52 products) with their prices and an example of a creative. No other details, I asked my usual questions (which are already in the requirements, which he decided to ignore though) such as to tell me very briefly about his brand, what the ad campaign is about and what he is aiming for, if he has a site, a LOGO, etc... being that 9 hours I received no answer and the time was running out I took initiative and started to create the creative based on the example he sent. Unfortunately as I mentioned the images with the prices were unreadable so I could not move forward. And I decided to make a creative on my own, with a clean and modern style, a simple but at the same time eye-catching and professional creative. The creative was absolutely perfect, very good copywriting, aesthetically beautiful etc... I sent the creative to the buyer explaining that because it had been a long time I had taken my own initiative and made this, after a few hours he came back and started insulting me, saying that this was absolutely not what he wanted and that my work was meaningless. I politely explained that I tried to contact him for hours but received no response, and for fear of being penalized for canceling the order or late delivery I took initiative. Then I asked him to send me the prices so that they would be readable, and he told me that he could not at the moment because he was driving. The prices were sent to me this afternoon and I started right away with the new creative. As I said, there are 52 products (which is INSANE to put on an AD creative), with their prices, both the normal (crossed out) and new (discounted) ones. Again, he didn't give me any other information, so I followed well or poorly the example of the old creative he used, adding my own touch of course, not making a copy. I deliver the result and after a few hours he comes back again angry, the text is too small, problems left and right, so I said no problem and I could fix it but as a courtesy he had to tell me all the problems with the creative and NOW, not after 10 hours (of course always in a polite and professional way, even though I was actually REALLY nervous). Fortunately, this time he responded right away and started to give me some information (although very vague, but generally not a problem, since it is also my job to interpret what customers want), the problem is that although I followed his information he was always unhappy, kept insulting me and changing the instructions with each delivery. By now time is up, and my GIG will probably suffer, but there is nothing I can do about it. Anyway now I have fulfilled every request and made the final delivery, of course he is no longer responding, I hope this time is the last revision. The funny thing? I went to his profile and contacted the last 3 vendors he interacted with, they all told me the same thing, that he is a very bad person, rude and tried to scam them too, fortunately they all got paid in the end, but even they were looking forward to blocking this guy. I imagined from the beginning that this job would go bad, I was fooled by the 5-star reviews, which the sellers left (probably to avoid a bad review) Edited April 16 by itsmarchegiano Explained the story

You should have initiated either a cancellation or a request for extended delivery date whist trying to get more details. You cannot simply make up something just to fulfill the order. This makes it cancellable by him, as customer service will tell you. If I order a song from someone, but don't send details, the seller cannot draw a picture of a cow and deliver it. Even though he did not give you what you need, you can't fake a delivery. 1 hour ago, itsmarchegiano said: kept insulting me That's when you cancel the order and block him. Don't accept that for one second. 1 hour ago, itsmarchegiano said: I went to his profile and contacted the last 3 vendors he interacted with Be careful. Contacting anyone for reasons other than placing an order is a violation of TOS and considered spam. I would have reported that and you would have gotten a strike. 2
cemre_gemdesign
I completely understand your frustration with scammers on Fiverr. Same here! I'd suggest you to reach out to customer support in this situation. I know that it is very time-consuming and most of the time it feels like you are chatting with bots, however, they are the only resource to resolve issues with a buyer (my experience). I guess customer support will then tell you that they can't force a buyer to accept a delivery. However, it's important to demonstrate that you have fulfilled your end of the agreement. If the customer support cancels the order on the behalf of the buyer, ask them for a compensation and ask them to make sure that the cancelation is not counted against your stats. Good luck! 🙂
