whiteturtle1988
Guys, Good day to everyone, hope no one has the same situation as it did with me. The Fiverr customer service team cancelled the order that was fully completed after I asked them to help me resolve the dispute with the buyer. My programmes are still on the buyer's PC, but i have only a suspended account + a cancelled order. About 5 days ago, I faced problems with the buyer. After 20 days of creating a huge project that consisted of 2 programmes and submitting the project, - buyer starts telling me that the project doesn't suit him and he will cancel the order. After searching for a solution, I noticed that there was no way to find it, so I wrote to the support team to open the dispute and help us solve our question. First 2 days it was ok: the support team told me to send the instructions to their receiver; to try to negotiate by ourselves; + asked me to send proofs that the programmes are fully functional. I've done everything. And the next time i'm receiving messages to my email, I see: "Your order with .... was cancelled by our customer service team. To review the reason for this cancellation, click here. " But there wasn't even a proper link where i could read the reason! After that, I opened my Fiverr account, and it was suspended! The most ridiculous thing will be soon. The Fiverr customer service team told me that everything was because of my violations. 2 of my gigs, that were on the platform for almost a year and were checked by approve system broke the "Services that infringe third parties’ terms of service". I really didn't know about it. Who reads the regulations if everything is fine and the gig's approval system allows your gigs. I want to underline that exactly at the same part of this regulation there is a description of the penalty in this case:"Gigs that are flagged for violations of third parties terms of service will be removed from the marketplace. " + something else: "Do not post, offer, or ask for services that infringe third parties’ terms of service. " (https://www.fiverr.com/community/standards/prohibited-services) It means that the normal solution in this case should be just a gig deleted, + I'm the same way gilty as the buyer. Am i right? There is one more very important thing (not the last): WARNINGS. Fiverr says: How our warning system works: If it’s your first warning, you will be reminded of Fiverr’s Terms of Service. Repeat violations may result in account suspension. A second warning of the same type will result in account suspension. A second warning of a different type for leveled sellers will result in account demotion. Three warnings of any type will result in your account being suspended. But i have never received any warnings before! I hope that your attention to my situation will help to reconsider the solution of my situation humanity way. + What is your advice? maezma85
It is a rather complex issue that you are raising, surely the most experienced users and with better English can help you more than I can. Regarding the sanction, there should not necessarily be a prior warning, if the offense is considered very serious, they can directly close your account Edited April 16 by maezma85
melanielm
I'm not quite sure I understand everything. You appear to have sold a program that violated a third party's TOS. So, Fiverr cancelled the order and shut down your gig, right? You can't sell things that break the rules. 3 hours ago, maezma85 said: Regarding the sanction, there should not necessarily be a prior warning, if the offense is considered very serious, they can directly close your account This is exactly right.

markp
The problem was that you provided bots for Reddit, Amazon, and eBay. That is a big no-no. Any type of bot for Reddit, regardless of its use, will get a complaint due to how most of them are used. I don't know or want to know what you were doing for this customer, but I will say anyone up to anything remotely "shady" will have no hesitation to throw you under the wheels of a bus when they have got what they wanted. It's common knowledge that none of these sites tolerate the use of bots, and you should have expected trouble was not going to be far behind. it's no good complaining about the Fiverr TOS when these sites tell you exactly the same thing. Normal solution is not gig deleted. The normal solution is not to provide these services in the first place.
