Filtered copyright illustrations

I hired an illustrator to do realistic drawings for my book and now have concreate evidence that he is using the reference images I send him and filtering them to create the illustrations for my book.  I have wasted 7 months and a lot of money only to realize he is not drawing these image.  What do I do???

If the gig did not reveal that's what the seller offers, it is a misrepresentation of services (i.e. They're lying.) I'd contact customer service and report them and cancel of the order. This doesn't sound like a matter of you just not liking the end result.
